Yea I know this ones late again, I'm sorry! But TBH, it's kinda longer than I imagined but I think it's solid anyway certainly changes up the formula quite a lot for the series but I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway!
Shortly after the UNSC's Costly victory at Escala III Captain James Gregory Cutter is called into a disciplinary hearing for his actions though his fate remains uncertain as Spartan Squad 117 are reassigned to Fleet Admiral Hoopers flagship, the UNSC Canberra. After spending some time off on the planet of Herschel the squad are gathered onto the UNSC Canberra and are sent on a recon mission to uncolonised space after the energy signatures of a Forerunner structure is detected. However, after arriving at the structure they are met not just with Admirals Thrawn's formidable battlegroup lead by the fearsome Chimera but also a small Covenant remnant fleet as the whole mission devolves into a small scale 3 sides all out brawl between the three factions.

Yea so this one took a while. I'm really sorry for no uploads in the past two days but I was working on this and I was kinda determined to get it done, I was also having some major issues with my internet and the AI too so that doesn't help either I guess. Anyway I hope this one is a satisfying conclusion to the first arc of this series If you want to know some actual cannon estimations for the losses both sides take in this battle feel free to ask since the AI just didn't wanna specify. And yea, you heard right, first arc. This is gonna be a long running series, I'm kinda just planning on going with this series on the side until I physically run out of ideas and if there's any stuff you guys wanna see happen or even just ideas for spinoffs set in this universe then feel free to say.
As for a summary for this one in particular basically the UNSC counterattack from the previous story on the ground has left Imperial lines shattered and undermanned whilst Cutters reinforcements in space finally turn the tide of the battle.
Yea that's pretty much it this is more for the action than the plot tbh but yea hope you enjoy!
