Summary
Akira Kurusu is a teenage girl who happened to come across someone in need and tried to help. Now, as a punishment for crossing the wrong person, she's been sent from her small town home to attend Shujin Academy in Tokyo while on "probation."
Determined to keep her head down and stay out of trouble, she relocates, but quickly finds herself in a crazy scenario that makes it pretty clear that her life is never going to be as quiet as she'd originally hoped for.
Armed with a strong sense of sass and sarcasm, some new (and unusual!) friends, and a model gun, she's out to steal your heart!POV Story: Plot of Persona 5 Royal as a female protagonist and the friendships and events that go along with it.
Warnings include everything from the game: drugging, implied/referenced sexual assault, police brutality, bullying, attempted suicide, violence, etc... I highly recommend playing (or watching!) the game, but some of the scenes/scenarios could be triggering. I try not to linger in any of these areas more than needed for the story.

College admissions were hell. The agonizing thought of trying to compartmentalize every aspect of a human being into an applications essay, running yourself ragged with multiple extracurricular activities for the sake of seeming competitive to universities all across the globe, and the never-ending interview panels of an alumnus trying to gleam something from the layers of mountainous burnout you had put yourself through were some of the most stressful times of your life. Goro wasn't at that point, but he laid awake thinking about it at night. You'd almost think he'd want to coast to the end, collect his achievements, and make the best CV possible so that when applications came, he had the best possible chance. But no, of course not, Goro Akechi and Ren Amamiya were bored. It would be too easy, for both of them. So why not make it a game?
In short: Goro Akechi is Shujin's beloved Student Body President. However, he's bored. His boyfriend proposes they make a game out of it by running against each other. The plot twist? Nobody knows they're dating.

It starts when Ren buys a Featherman keychain in memory of his rival. No problems so far, except that his rival is dead, and Tokyo is a hollowed-out husk without him. But when Ren runs into Akechi at a midnight premiere, the landscape changes, and he's faced with his biggest challenge since he killed his last god: Convince Goro Akechi that he likes Featherman.
