Famine has long since struck. Everything and anyone was food now. Soldiers in bunkers would stalk their injured comrades, waiting for the moment they passed to sink teeth into their flesh. Violence for violence is the rule of this land. You are born from it, made into warriors from it, and undone from it. The world here thrives on it, human affinity is always bound to it. Morality an afterthought as everyone claws at the chance of survival.
The world outside is hell, but it is freer than the confines of the empire. Many would rather die standing than live on their knees groveling in fear from the king that once ruled, for he is the most violent one of all. No one, not even children, were safe from his dear cauldron-born.
And the Seven within them can only guide them.

In a school is full of people with pasts they'd prefer unshared. some Genius's and prodigies, others rich and influential, some even both.
What extents would they go to if they discovered someone who knew almost everything about them, things they never told to more then 1 person , experiences that only happened minutes prior ,and knowing what would occur months ahead in time to them? Know if or How their plans succeed or fail?
Not only that, but they know everything about your enemies too, their pasts, weaknesses, traumas, futures..
Would they want to destroy that person?
Use them to bring down those higher?
Lock them so that they can't tell anyone about your past deeds, and get information on the weaknesses of your enemies?
Perhaps even feel understood
or perhaps, want to make them and that info...Disappear?
Its much safer behind a screen,

Rue blinked. Excuse me? So personal space wasn’t a thing here. Fantastic. Her professor was now examining her hair, as if she were some rare herb with unexpected properties. She sat perfectly still, uncertain if she should speak or flee.
“Well,” Professor Crewel said, finally lifting his hand from Rue’s hair as he turned to face the rest of the class, “did the rest of you whelps know that?”
Silence.
He arched a brow, letting the quiet stretch just long enough to make a few students shift uncomfortably in their seats.
“If you didn’t know all of it,” he continued, voice crisp, “then I suggest you pay attention in class. Hm? ”
There was a general murmur of acknowledgment, but Rue barely heard it—still half-frozen, unsure whether to be mortified or weirdly flattered that her scalp had apparently passed inspection. Professor Crewel strode back down the steps like nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. She resisted the urge to bury her face in her hands.
This school was going to be a lot.
