Short summary
Sapnap and Dream are dealing with a combination of childhood abuse, soulmate fatigue, and the fact they might be falling in love with each other. Also George and Bad are in pain over their idiotic friends. But they're trying their best.

Dream winced, eyes dropping away from Sapnap’s. “I had a nightmare and thought getting some water would help but I just… ended up panicking instead and didn’t wanna wake up you or George.”
Sapnap sighed softly, adjusting himself so that he kneeled next to Dream. They had been going out long enough that Sapnap was used to Dream’s self-sacrificing nature, known each other even longer, enough that Dream should know that Sapnap wouldn’t let him pull away so easily. Sapnap reached out a hand, cupping Dream’s cheek, and he leaned into it as his eyes fluttered shut.
