The Drugs Don't Work - The Verve.Sherlock is new at a pretty renowned boarding school in the suburbs of London. After traumatic events, he moved from his childhood town. He is now living with his mother who has severe mental health issues, while himself is battling with his own demons.
John is the captain of the rugby team. He's popular and well-liked, but few people know he's not wealthy and has some issues.
The two boys will meet and wonder about one another. Can they help each other ?Author's note :
I suck at summaries. Give this fic a try if you're interested, but be careful, I'll be writing about sensitive topics.
I was mostly inspired by the song "The Drugs Don't Work" by the Verve, as you might've guessed by the title. It's a very good song, I recommend it.
Also, English isn't my first language, so be indulgent. If I make any mistakes, don't hesitate to correct me in the comments. Also, any feedback is appreciated and I love reading the comments, so go crazy.
It's supposed to be a short fanfic to begin my adventure on AO3, so don't expect anything too fancy. Enjoy ! -

Being the 'Other Holmes' meant that Eleanor was often overlooked, but really she had just as much input as her twin. The only thing she didn't choose was the cases they went on or the people that seemed to get dragged into something that Sherlock started. At least she could say she got on with their family more than he did and that she, even if she was exactly like him, could get people to like her very quickly.
