Monsters fell rarely; he hadn't been alive when the last one had fallen over a century ago, and he didn't exactly expect to be alive for the next. Fortunately, or unfortunately, a wasp-esque skeleton monster purposefully fell in as a hive foundress, looking for specifically a human breeding male to start a hive with - and he happened to be a monsterfucker, and he also happened to be the first male she'd found while conscious, even if he was sick as fuck at the time.
It was a lot more than he bargained for, to say the fucking least about it.

It’s only been one week. But it’s been utter hell for us. One week ago the Queen tasked us with a “old friend”. Well “old friend” my ass, they act like a teen that discovered online porn. They got scared by the fucking toaster. But Toriel called in a favor saying it was “for the greater good”. I couldn’t say no to the Queen, especially one so punny.
The first meeting was well something. They were a skeleton, a female skeleton. Which was all but impossible, as I would’ve known any female skeleton underground and she definitely didn’t come from the machine. What’s the worst about this mystery girl is we got to get this girl a date mate. The Queen picked us to house her and find her “true love.” We are totally fucked.-

The joys of being the only mage in an Underground society full of humans that wanted his head cut off, put on a stake, and burned... they were truly limitless. Being constantly targeted for harassment and always getting picked on for fights, having to constantly be on edge and defending himself and his abusive younger brother from the outside world that wanted them dead.
On top of everything, he fucking hated his job.
What he hates more is breaking a promise.
What he hates a lot less is a skeleton monster that enters his life suddenly and changes it just as fast.
