“What’s wrong? Do you – not want to?”
The cautious hurt in James’ voice makes him flinch in shame and he has to look away from his searching gaze. He takes a gulp of his dry throat and tries to quickly think of an excuse.
“It’s not that I don’t want to…”
And that’s the truth. He would love to give pleasure to James in anyway the older man wants from him.
But…
“With your previous experiences, I didn’t think it would be something that you’d want.”
And there’s the lie. For his hesitancy is not because of his worry for James. It’s purely selfish, born of his own sins.
James’ eyes grow distant for a moment and Zemo feels more guilt for having to remind his lover of his harrowing past. But then James’ gaze refocuses on him and he reaches up his flesh hand to caress his smooth face gently.
“I wouldn’t, I didn’t - before. But with you…”
James trails off for a moment, seemingly overcome with emotion and Zemo’s heart clenches further with sympathy in his too tight chest.
“With you, it’s different. Things are different. I trust you. You’d never hurt me.”Zemo tells James his darkest secret.

Zemo gives the taller man a skeptical look and tilts his head to the side in consideration.

In fact, it’s even less than that—this is probably the first and only time it’ll ever happen. Bucky squares his shoulders, takes a deep calming breath and sets his mind to the task at hand. He’s here to do his job.

Summary
He grit his teeth hard and clenched his fists. He could feel the strain of the muscles in his face as he glared for all he was worth. Burnam took notice and laughed heartily at him.
“You best go over there and claim ya boy, before Bruno does.”
Bucky was about to tell him off and that Zemo was not “his boy” when the man in question danced closer into his view and he could see him gyrating and dragging his ass across Bruno’s groin like a slut. His strange jealous rage grew and before he realized what he was doing, he was up from the couch and walking purposely through the raucous crowd straight toward Zemo. The other man had his eyes closed, so he didn’t notice right away when Bucky approached. Bucky reached out and took him by the bicep and his dark eyes flew open and met his own. They were dark and blown out and half-lidded with sensual languor.
“Come on now, that’s enough.”
Zemo gets high and baits Bucky into giving him the attention he craves.

Zemo hits the ground with a groan and slides a good few feet across the floor when Walker shoves him away with more force than strictly necessary. He gets his arms under himself and leans back on his elbows to stare up at Walker, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. A stray lock of his hair has come loose and it hangs across his forehead. Other than that, he looks perfectly in control despite, or perhaps because of, Walker’s aggressive show of power.

“And what about me?” Sam asks him, dreading whatever plan Zemo clearly had put in motion before they even left Berlin. They had only ducked into a hideaway overnight, but Zemo apparently had time to both call his family butler to arrange a private jet and procure disguises, as well as shave.
If possible, Zemo’s closed-lipped smirk stretches even wider and Sam feels the first strobes of pain from a headache coming on.
