“That’s…” Her voice cracked, very softly. “That can’t be. No, no… he-he left for work this morning. He said he’d be home for dinner.”
“We’re very sorry.”
The words did nothing. They thudded against a wall of disbelief so thick it barely absorbed them.

this is such a cute fic! Ii've been craving for this kind of fic for so long, and i'm glad that i was able to find one! it wasn't overly slowburn, but i love that there was still the mention of the progression of their relationship. it would be even better if we could get another part where it shows what happens after years of their relationship. one that features their married life is even better!

Summary
Operation Strix has been going on for a few years now, about 11 whole years. Anya had accomplished Plan A already, just after abandoning Plan B. She had given up on Plan B about Four years ago, and since then she treated Damian like any other classmates, no longing trying to get on his good side. She abandoned him after a fight they had about family.
The tale between Anya and Damian growth after she finds him trying to kill himself. Will Anya be able to figure out Demian's dark mind, or will she fall victim to the yandere teen.

Complete rewrite of canon, mainly Anya's POV. Anya is very OOC in this, and so it ends up diverging from canon significantly.
