bowser and princess peach are so so cute and that is that. a shorter work exploring princess peach and bowser falling for each other after bowser kidnaps her as bait for mario.
“What is your name?” Peach tilted her head to the side as she said it, seemingly appraising him.
“You were taken in the middle of the night by force from your kingdom into an unfamiliar castle, you look upon a monster who likely orchestrated it, and you ask his name?” The king looked dumbfounded.
“You don’t look like a monster to me.”
Her words seemed to take the king by surprise, and he hesitated incredulously before saying “So you have little self-preservation, then? No ability to separate predators from prey?”
“If you were going to hurt me, I think you would have already. And I’m not the easy prey you seem to think I am.”
He chuckled, amused by her. “Smart princess.”
She raised an eyebrow, clearly irritated by his patronizing. “Overconfident Koopa.”-

Mario grew up in Brooklyn feeling that there was something missing. Finding himself in the mushroom kingdom, he must find his way home, but hesitates when seeing a guy who looks like him, someone he has been looking for his whole life.
The only problem, Luigi is one of the bad guys, raised as the little brother of Bowser Koopa, who was in the process of attacking the Mushroom kingdom.
The Toads are defenceless and Mario wants to help, but can he fight his long lost twin? And is Luigi truly evil?

Summary
Peach paced by the castle doors, awaiting the Mario Brothers. They were coming to help fix a few things in the castle. What the Princess didn’t expect, however, is what she saw when the doors swung open and the two men walked into the building.
Mario’s normally clear, sparkling blue eyes were glazed over and slightly distant. Despite clearly trying to hold himself up, he wasn’t doing a great job at it. Luigi’s eyes were also glazed, but he looked much more grounded than Mario. The red plumber was not looking good…

Mario has probably slept a total of eight hours in the past two days, scrounging every inch of Peach’s library and his house, but Luigi’s stuff seemed to just gradually disappear. The pictures in their photo albums were devoid of his brother. The green shirts in their shared bedroom’s spare closet–Luigi’s closet– were entirely different shirts now. Some were missing, others just looked like Mario’s red ones, and some of them were just random t-shirts that formed out of nowhere.
