Throwing them away felt wrong.
Like a part of himself is getting discarded. So, Neptune choose a different way for them to still hold use- sew them on his moons, his treasures- clothes.

Mars hummed, appearing by his shoulder. “Nah, he’ll probably get bored in the next day or so. This won’t last long.”

Après cinq ans dans l'espace en tant qu'ambassadeur cosmique, Jeremy Delcon (Astrodude) revient sur Terre brisé : il est viré, doit deux milliards de dollars à l'Agence, et son fils le déteste.
Le véritable cauchemar commence lorsqu'il découvre que sa femme a adopté, comme enfants d'accueil, deux adolescents étrangement familiers : la Terre et la Lune.
Coincé entre sa dette et l'obligation de vivre avec les planètes doués de sens qu'il fuit depuis cinq ans, Jeremy forme un "Conseil de Guerre cosmique" au sein de sa famille brisée et est contraint de traquer un robot rebelle. Tout en surveillant les plus grande menaces de l'humanité : plusieurs êtres cosmiques qui ont élu domicile sur la surface de la Terre dans un chaos qui ne fait qu'empirer.-

He reached out for Jupiter’s tie, winding it around his wrist a second time and using the shorter length to yank him closer, close enough to feel the warmth of his breath puffing against his lips. “Don’t you agree, darling? It could be so fun.”
“And how are we going to give him this something else?”

Or; Less morally sound Jupiturn really don't want to have Erebus manipulating Uranus into helping him. Because they don't want Erebus to return. Somehow the best option is to instead exploit Uranus's crush on them. This does not end well (or it actually does, just not how it was intended).

Triton has been content exploring the galaxy, never staying in one place for too long lest he get trapped there. But when there's that oh-so-familiar tug of a planets gravity, he's unable to escape it's grasp and is stuck with the blue giant (what was his name? Scotus?)
Now caught in an orbit he didn't want, he's dragged along for the revenge ride.———————————————

“Why would I hold a grudge?” Neptune blinked at him, one eye at a time, smile completely static. “And why would I hate you?”
Did he ever stop smiling?
“There’s no use in that!” He wiggled his fingers and spun around him, and Erebus followed without meaning to, spinning once before he realized what he was doing and rooted in place. “Grudges only make everything hurt worse.”

Little shattered bits and pieces of rocks and other metals drifted by their faces. Jupiter came to an abrupt halt.
Both of the toddlers were crying. Uranus loudly, gasping for breath, while Neptune was quiet, and curled up. Bits and pieces of asteroids dug into Uranus' wing. Neptune was covering his ears.

Venus hides his atmosphere from the others, but that doesn’t stop the fact that is exist. After the Moon Revolution, the trials, and learning what the Earth tried to do, Mars gets curious.
It brings up more of the past than it should have. And Venus doesn’t want to face that past. Not when so much has changed.

Miranda was trying to soothe Cupid and Belinda, who seemed close to tears. Even Perdita was clumsily patting their backs, though her eyes remained on Titania when she spoke. What? "But we're safe finally! We don't need to hide, we are planets!"
"You are planets." Puck's voice was harsh in a way Titania hadn't heard before, catching her off guard. His expression softened when she looked at him, however, causing his posture to relax. "We don't meet the criteria."
"What- sure you do!" She blinked away her surprise. Where was this coming from? Had someone picked on them? Oh, it was Titan, she knew it was. The second-biggest moo- planet was way too loyal sometimes. He really should stop sticking his nose in other people's business. "You orbit the Sun! That makes you a planet by default!"

In her spiral to protect the Uranian moons, Titania overlooks the many, many reasons as to why it would be hard for them to no longer be moons.

Neither Phobos nor Deimos had ever seen Mars hurt before.
The little moon didn't even think it was possible. He was Mars! Their parent planet, their big brother, nothing could take Mars down!

"How could you attack Mars and Venus?!"

His orbit had never been this dark.
Or cold. Neptune shivered, pulling his hood up while hugging himself as he hesitantly looked around- usually, he would start seeing Sun more clearly by now. His orbit should be warming up again as the area cleared, and then once again, he would get to hang out with Uranus.
Only... his orbit hadn't stopped becoming darker. Or colder. At this point, the Sun had become a distant dot in the sky. He... couldn't see anyone- not Uranus, Jupiter, or Saturn. Nobody.
Okay. Maybe his orbit changed again. That's fine. The solar system was always changing. No reason to worry!
He giggled to himself
nervouslyand turned around- the Kuiper Belt looked closer than their star at this point. That... wasn't good, right? Wasn't that too far?No, no, it's fine. His orbit will go back to normal soon enough.
This isn't fine. Go back.
