He flushed, nervously reaching for his braid to give it a single tug. “It just lined up! You two had to renew your lease, and they managed to add me onto theirs, so… it made sense. And I did not. It wasn’t that often,” he said, voice trailing off weakly as he thought back on the past few months and realized it… sort of was.
