Azure looked back at the runt on their knees, caught off guard by the sudden pull he felt on his robes. “What insolent nonsense are you speaking?” He hissed. “Let go of my dress and speak properly.”
They only held harder onto the silk that draped over Azure’s form, their eyes shining with insanity. Their claws ripped into the sacred fabric, they were desperate now.
A hound feels not love, but obsession.
“Azure…” they chanted the name like a prayer to ward off evil, a divine hymn to seal them together for eternity. “I’m freezing…” they stammered, hoping that the man would take them in his arms once more.
But Azure stared at them in disbelief— no— disgust. A fearful look lined his face, his eyes wide with shock and mouth agape. The look people gave to strays.
“Don’t look at me like that…” Two Time whimpered, their grip loosening on the robes. “Look at me like a human. I’m a human… You said it… You told me I’m not a useless feral animal, I’m a person— with feelings..” they spoke with apprehension, “I’m showing emotion now, so why aren’t you responding?”
Azure was at standstill, a rigid statue of no emotion. “You..”
