Summary
Now… Now things were complicated with unspoken cues, with hours of conversation going nowhere in particular and meaning everything all at the same time. Complicated with that mischievous glint in Stanley’s gaze that was too subtle to see at first, intricacies in the shape of Zending lights and Jim buttons saying the wrong name. Convoluted code he never intentionally wrote that bloomed warmth each time he saw that silly little office worker smile-
The Narrator squeezed his hands into fists to quell the trembling as it began again, shaking his head to physically distance himself from the swirling of his mind.
Find the bug. You can fix this without a factory reset. Just focus.

Summary
A touch starved Stanley, his narrator, his bucket, and the crushing weight of inescapable loneliness, what an amazing combination!
Re; Stanley is touch-starved, that much was obvious.
Being alone, physically alone, in a simulation for lord knows how long does things to your mental health, believe it or not.
Again, Stanley had stayed in the broom closet for far too long, just hugging his bucket
Sure, he could have gone to the employee lounge to hug a pillow - but his bucket, his, the one decorated with stanley's ‘found stickers’ [really just given by narrator], made him feel special.
It was like the bucket was a real human to Stanley, like he was hugging a real person. It never failed to stop the coil of his chest from getting too big, always calming him down as his feeling of Longines dwelled away after a few minutes, or a few hours if it was overwhelming

Summary
Stanley is a normal man. His marriage is (somehow) successful, he has a steady job, and for all intents and purposes, he is perfectly respectable. At least, that's what people think—the fact that he frequents a certain bar might indicate something else entirely, but that's for him alone to know about.
But on one evening at said bar, a rather handsome stranger slips Stanley a seemingly blank note. As he works to unravel the meaning behind it, he finds himself inadvertently dragged into an adventure he never wanted alongside a man he only knows as Narrator; a man who trades identities, accents, and aliases as easily as he breathes.
And very quickly, this adventure turns out to be more than poor Stanley bargained for.

Summary
Confusion growing, Stanly began to sign, ‘Who’s driving—’
As if to interrupt him, the engine flared to life before Stanley got the chance to finish his question. And then, the car started to drive.
“I am, of course,” the Narrator hummed, his voice sounding closer in proximity than it previously had. “Do you mean…are you in here? With me? Right now?’
“Well…sort of. But not in the way you’re probably thinking,” The Narrator sighed, “I’m always with you, Stanley.”

Summary
" And even if he was an artificial man, even with the 1's and 0's of his body, the emptiness of his mind or even the very obvious lack of any rational thought he could think of on his own.
He knew, that this was hell and that it would always, be hell. The very hell that was burning and boiling over, hell that would raise and rise and swallow him whole if he wasn't careful. He was trapped, formally and informally trapped in the mouth of the beast..
In order to escape, he would have to face the devil.. "
