Dr. Kiramman steers her through the chaos and plants her in a chair. Does something to her arm that hurts like fuck, then drapes her in bags of ice and wraps her in a sling. Blinds her with a pen light—“Called it,” she mumbles when he confirms she’s concussed—and presses two pills and a warm mug into her hand. It smells herbaceous. Familiar.
“I brought the good stuff from home,” Dr. Kiramman confesses, and it takes her a moment to understand he means tea. “Extra honey for you. I know you haven’t acquired the taste.”
He’s right in that she only actually drank it once, the first time it was offered—the afternoon they spoke to the Council, several lifetimes ago. But she tasted it just this morning in Caitlyn’s mouth, grassy and sweet. So she pops the pills and takes a sip. Tries not to think about whether that terrified kiss over breakfast was their last. “I want to see her.”
After the war, Vi and Cait recover, and rebuild.

After all the woman has witnessed every other one of Vi's failures why wouldn't she be here now, her presence taunting Vi as she grapples with finding her place in a city and amongst a people she turned her back on. As Vi struggles to earn forgiveness and prepares for the looming war against Piltover, Sevika's looming presence starts to weigh on her. Before she realizes it the feelings she thought were behind are causing a distraction and it doesn't help that Sevika won't leave her alone.
