But all of them have the exact same question: what compelled these teenagers to brave getting on a dragon’s back in the first place?
Alongside the riders dragons themselves, these people are forced to sit and watch the past play out, seeing things that no one else has seen, stuff that even the people who were present when it all started weren’t aware of. Secrets are revealed, seeds are planted, and perspectives are changed or challenged as they watch the beginning of a very, very long message.

Kaiko and Will had decided they wanted to start a family pretty early on, and they wanted to help other families too, hence why they had gotten a fostering license. Life got pretty hectic not long after: having Ant and Fontaine, moving onto the Aronnax, the disappearance of Will’s parents and the search for Lemuria quickly took over, leaving no time for fostering.
But one day, years later, an out of the blue call from Commander Pyrosome changes the Nektons’ lives in a completely new way, and they’re not the only ones!
Along the way, some dark mysteries of Kaiko's past at the WOA start to resurface, will she manage to protect her secrets and keep her family - including its new members - safe?
Or
Hammerhead is even more evil than he is in canon and after the WOA arrest him, Commander Pyrosome is left scrambling to find somewhere for Smiling Finn and Mad Madeline to go.
Lucky for her, Kaiko and Will still (somehow) have a valid fostering license.

This fan fiction is a crossover of the 2016 animated cartoon series The Deep and the 2015 Thunderbirds Are Go animated series. The fan fiction world's setting is that of the Thunderbirds series. The Aronnax and the Nektons come across a derelict oil rig whose well cap is about to burst. When they get to the oil rig, the rusted cap bursts, and the Nekton family realises they will need more help if they're going to stop the leak, so they call International Rescue to help in sealing the oil well.
