Seven months after the horrific events that scarred her for life, Callie Morgan stood like a statue, examining the outside of the Hackett lodge over and over again. She kept thinking about the other counselors who she could have gotten to know better. She ached when she thought about Max who had broken up with her a mere month after the summer ended (she was surprised it took that long considering what she did to him). And a part of her, a part that she only kept to herself, deep down, thought about the Sheriff of Northkill who overstayed his welcome in her mind and refused to leave.
The logical part of her brain told her to run and never look back. But the other part-the part of her that longed for his presence again-told her it was time to face her fears.
She knew what she needed: catharsis. She needed the closure that only one other person in the world could offer.
She also needed his help.*The middle of this story is a series of flashback chapters that encompass the events of the game and the flashbacks where Travis is holding the two teens captive. This is not a wip, this is a finished story--just uploading one chapter at a time. Enjoy!*
