Summary
This story pics up one month after the end of The Unimaginable. It finds Oliver and Felicity attempting to find a place of normalcy and peace in the wake of Havenrock and their past breakup.
Felicity is haunted though and needs to find her own journey separate from Oliver's. This means facing her decisions, her mistakes and her own dreams with the unlikely assistance of Death (from The Sandman series). Oliver, in turn, must finally face his own schism when it comes to who he is, who he wants to be and how that all plays together in his relationship with Felicity. He finds his own guide in his dreams from the Sandman himself, Morpheus of The Endless.
I love writing this story and used, once again, the Hamilton Soundtrack as my guide. It's Quiet Uptown and That Would Be Enough are my lighthouses at the moment. #sorrynotsorry

In the same way one bristles at the sensation of being watched, John was aware of a disgust in himself- and he realized, looking around, that everything in this world (sparse as it may be) possessed an eerie quality of having been placed. In the way that a painting of a rose is not a rose, the barren territory that stretched out in all directions around John Dee had not been grown, but arranged- like staves driven into the ground.

Set after episode 9 (Collectors).
Morpheus disintegrates the Corinthian but doesn’t unmake him, instead sends him back to The Dreaming. Angst ensues. This is hurt/messy comfort. It also has next to no plot and not a lot of porn so I’m not really sure what it is, but I’m pretty sure that when Neil Gaiman said the best thing for a writer is “just write”, he didn’t mean this. Sorry Neil. -

This series is a love and smut story really but with a good plot! It will follow a mortal reader in her late twenties who meets the Lord of Dreams in the Waking World where he is looking to find one of his recently escaped nightmares, Lume. Lume can take on human form and has been walking free for months, staying away from the Dreaming and making it difficult for Morpheus to find him.
That is at least until Lord Morpheus meets you, a psychology student and artist who is particularly interested in the meaning and purpose of dreams and human psychology. You run a small studio in London where you exhibit your work, capturing the dreams of others in paintings after talking to them about their fears, desires and hopes. When Morpheus hears about a painting you have done recently, featuring a tall and handsome man surrounded by snakes, he channels through your somewhat disturbing and recurring nightmare and into your gallery, wanting to meet you and take a look at the painting. He claims to be interested in the said painting, pretending to be a mortal just like you and, whilst you realise that there is something strange about him, he captures your interest and you capture his. -
