Travel to Unalaska with the newly minted Winter Lady and help her defeat a force that Molly has only ever heard referenced in the works of Lovecraft. Simple, if you can sort through all the tentacles and non-euclidean geometry, right?
Wrong. The mission turns out to be a diversion with only one purpose. Keep Molly out of Chicago at all costs. When she discovers the Winter Knight is in her town and in cahoots with Nicodemus Archeleone, she takes the first Way back home, determined to help. But the situation is more complex than it first appears, and the reason for Marcone's deception brings everything she thought she knew down around her ears.
