Now we were standing there, shield to shield. I knew - well, I hoped that we both knew very well that this was nothing. Like two wolves snarling at each other, a demonstration of power, without any real intent to harm.
“I have no desire to tear your home apart by playing this game,” he said, breathing a little harder than it would be normal.
“And I have no desire to blow your pompous head off either,” okay - that wasn’t exactly true.So, this is a Harry Dresden/Stephen Strange crossover. I love both characters, and hurt/comfort stories.
I’m not going to over-explain it, give it a chance. :)The story is set after Battle Ground

I know Twelve Months is on its way, so if it's released before I finish this story and some things do not match then sorry for that.
About Stephen: Marvel comics’s story line is a mess, and I have problems with the movies too, so I might interpret him more freely. He exists after his two movies, but: Christine is not in the picture, and yes, he’s the Sorcerer Supreme.I write these stories for fun — but if there's anyone else out there who enjoys my weird ideas too, that just makes it even better. ;)

I'd already confirmed this for the White Council in my office as Warden, and was just having a drink to cool down, when Nicodemous himself walked in like he owned the place. I definitely didn't expect what happened next.

The problem with being a teenage wizard on the verge of going warlock with no impulse control was -
Okay, actually there were a lot of problems with that, in hindsight. But the specific problem was, when the person who was acting as your impulse control got brutally murdered, things tended to get messy.
You know. Hypothetically.
(Harry will defend his choices after that to his dying day. So will Ramirez. Marcone, for his part, really wishes those choices hadn't been made in Chicago and thus become his problem.)
