Summary
Abeni has been here for years, yet she remembers nothing of how she got here, where she was before. Nothing about her life, or her likes, dislikes: she didn’t even remember her name until someone here said it. Just the forgotten face of some random man leaning over her strapped down body saying We finally got her. The infamous Abeni. And that had been that. Her one and only memory of before this room, this facility.
She hates it so much. It would’ve been easier knowing at least something about her past. Anything. Her favorite colour, how many siblings she has, whether she likes cats or dogs. Maybe knowing one thing about the past would make her feel better about the present. Maybe it would help her disassociate from what she has to do. From what she is forced to do.
From all the lives she’s taken, all the people she has terrorized and left with nothing but grief and hatred towards her and everything she represents. Maybe, it would help her with appreciating others lives’ instead of just seeing them as targets, but to be quite frank, she’s not supposed to.
Seeing them as human, valuing their lives, well she wouldn’t survive here. She would go from killing targets to being one herself.

Summary
Loki, the third prince of Jotunheim, finds himself having to reluctantly escort the crown prince of Asgard and his companions around the palace of Utgard during the first visit to Jotunheim by Asgardians in a generation. Thor initially proves less arrogant and oafish than Loki had expected, but then apparently reveals his true nature with a demeaning order that Loki serve him in bed.
Loki feels that he has no choice but to comply with a smile on his face, as to displease Thor could mean that the Casket of Winters would continue to be held hostage in far-away Asgard. Loki is just as desperate to have it returned as his father, Laufey-king, is, even if their reasons for wanting it returned are different. Loki will acquiesce to being Thor's bedwarmer and anything else that is required of him as long as it means keeping the favour of the spoiled enemy prince.
And he has to admit to himself that he's not entirely opposed to being bedded by the golden-haired foreigner. However, the outcome is not what he would have wished for, and his problems with the prince of Asgard are just beginning.
