Lloyd’s eyes were wild, his hands glowing a violent purple, and his wings beat hard so he could reach his target faster. His horns sprouted from his head, and leathery black skin overtook his body. He only took a few seconds to reach her, a single-minded hatred clouded his senses, and all he could think about was tearing her apart.
Just as he got there, just as he was about to rake his claws through her throat, he suddenly stopped. Harumi smirked at him, and it slowly grew into a villainous cackle as Lloyd struggled against an invisible force. “What…?” Lloyd muttered, the shock immediately dissipating the anger.

He changed his demeanour again. Jay was definitely out of his depth. This guy was weird. “Just pulling your leg, man. I'm Cinder.”
“Oh,” he managed. “I'm… Jay. Jay Walker.”
His – Cinder's expression lit up. “You'd fit right in,” he laughed. “But usually we go for more serious crimes.”

It's really short so I don't wanna spoil much (I mean the tags already do that for me so like what's the point) ANYWAY
Since the master of sound wasn't given much justice (hello, Jacob was fed to a snake, and we barely got any crumbs from season 7), I thought, what would happen if the Ninja had a fifth member? But someone who isn't technically a part of "destiny." A character that didn't necessarily need to exist was still somehow working with the ninja: another friend, another brother.
Though the prophecy of the green ninja was complete without this fifth member, what if he was a catalyst? One of redemption? Specifically... Morro's?

Summary
The Great Devourer never bit Garmadon and turned him evil. Instead. . . It got his son.
For fear of the evil that could arise in the boy, Wu trapped Lloyd in the Departed Realm so that he would never escape and banished his own brother to the Underworld after he attempted to save his son.
Years later, with the signs of Lord Garmadon preparing to rise again, Wu forms a team of Ninja who will retrieve the Golden Weapons and prevent evil from reaching the living world again.
But this Ninja team only knows so much, and as the final conflict draws closer they begin to question just how much Wu is keeping from them. . .
After all, he never did say how or why his brother turned evil.
