Summary
It was over. Simon was dead, his father was dead, his first born son dead. Sophia, the love of his life, was also dead. The hotel felt cold and empty without the friends and family the Puppet made. When a strange blue chrysalis appears, the Puppet uses it. He finds himself in a different world, one where Carlo, Sophia and Romeo are alive. Where he is human and Carlo brother. This world feels too perfect, too good. The Puppet wonders if this is real, and should he go home?

He hadn’t seen Carlo for about a month. He wasn’t attending lessons, training sessions. Romeo wasn’t allowed to enter his father's home. He was hospitalised, he says now. Spent a couple weeks in nauseatingly sterile rooms, barely conscious on pain killers, his arm gone. Not giving signs of life. He is here now; Romeo reminds himself. Changed, tired, holding a hand of a child Romeo never saw in his life. He says it's his brother. One he either forgot to mention or was too painful to acknowledge. Weak blood, had to send the kid away to hopefully gain some strength. Romeo believes that. Maybe he shouldn’t, blinded like so many. Too focused on the flowers to see the thorns. Maybe the scent is buried too deep, maybe the thorns already infect his bones. He doesn’t mind anyway

Phlippus Paracelsus is a legend even among the alchemists, his knowledge of alchemy is envied by many, his medical ability to turn everything into the right cure, after all, the dosage is what matters when it comes to mixing chemistry not to mention his skill when it comes to making weapons. Truly a man that shows the true potential of what it means to be an alchemist.
It’s a shame that doesn’t stop others from mocking him due to his height.
