Summary
In a setting prior to the events in the game Final Fantasy XVI, a young man by the name of Leif Lesage becomes the Dominant of Bahamut during his time as a student in the Free City of Kanver. Considered an outcast and disgrace for leaving his kingdom in pursuit of greater purpose, Leif is thrust back into the fray of politics and forced into the position of a weapon of war. Conflicted about his new role, Leif pursues a means to find his place in the world without compromising who he is and what he believes in.
