Penny can’t stand it when Pam gets drunk at night. Whenever it happens, she climbs out her window and takes a walk to clear her head. More often than not she ends up venting her frustrations to Dusty, her neighbor Alex’s adorably ugly dog.
When Alex has a nightmare, he can never get back to sleep, so he likes to sneak out for a jog, more often than not with his trusty mutt Dusty. If his cool-down is sometimes a manly cuddle and cry about his terrible dream, then no one has to know.
It’s honestly amazing they don’t run into each other until the universe (read: nosy farmer) brings them together.
