Summary
Lalna blinked sharply, but the man before him didn’t vanish. It’d been months since he’d seen Xephos outside of his lab and, by the looks of him, he hadn’t left the place the whole while. He was even thinner than usual, hands spidery and face pale, but he was here, outside of Lalna’s base, looking like he wanted to curl up in shame. Xeph had never done well with the emotion, preferring to bluff through his own mistakes as if he could convince himself and everyone around him they’d never happened. It’d used to be endearing - then the mistakes had become less charming, and the bluffing had been less a bluff and more a memory wipe.

He was standing on one side of a pane of glass, taking notes on what the testificate on the other side was doing. They were carefully adding droplets to a small beaker from a distance, making the liquid inside fizz and pop before turning a foul shade of brown. The testificate inside looked up at him questioningly and, as he nodded to go on, the door to the room flew open.
“Xephos!” yelled Honeydew, “Come and have a biscuit!”

When Honeydew finds himself in Yoglabs sans memory beyond his own name, a full scale investigation urges the higher ups to discovering how such an anomaly could have occurred. And although Honeydew's presence may just prove more issue than it's worth, it will take a lot more than that to deter the brilliant minds of Yoglabs from getting to the bottom of this.
Oh! There's his best friend, too. Of course Honeydew remembers him. He could never forget Xephos.

After the two holes, was a third platform. Unlike the others in the room, it didn’t have a sea of glass and blood surrounding it’s base. It had a tall glass tank protruding out of the top filled with a blue liquid, a worn sign neatly bolted to the front and multiple lights and buttons on the side flickered weakly.
Inside the tank, floating calmly with closed eyes, was a body.
“Hey, Xeph?” asked Honeydew.
“Yeah?”
“What the fuck am I looking at?”
Xephos sighed, tiredly. “Based on the door sign, I’d guess it’s a clone.”
He squinted his eyes at the worn sign on the platform.
“And based on this sign, I’d guess it’s called Lalna.”
(Whilst chasing two evil Honeydews through The Hand, Xephos and Honeydew stumble across someone who claims to be an old friend)

Apologies, but this is currently on hiatus - Life has been throwing a lot my way recently, and writing (and a lot of other things I do for fun) have had to take a back seat for quite a while. Things are beginning to calm down a little now (I hope) and so I'm trying my hardest to get back into the swing of things, but I can't say for sure when the next chapter upload will be :(

This story is focussing on the lives of Lewis and Simon as they wander through it, meeting friends, making enemies and having good times together.
