Summary
An Episode 8 AU, where Lucifer is just a few minutes late to the fight. Despite fighting as hard as she could, Charlie loses the battle to Adam, who relishes the chance to slay the Princess of Hell. Her death resonates across the realms, heralding a new era of war as a grief-stricken and vengeance-driven Lucifer vows to burn Heaven to the ground. The King Of Hell rallies his people and prepares to attack, all in the name of avenging his daughter. He knows it'll be suicide, that a war between Heaven and Hell would lead to mutually assured destruction, but he lost the only person he cared about. What else does he have left to live for?
But in a twist of fate, Charlie awakens in Heaven. Why was she here? Hellborns didn't have souls that could be redeemed, right?
With diplomacy between Heaven and Hell severed, and Lucifer isolating himself in his realm, Charlie has to travel to a third dimension, Earth, and contact her father there. But contacting the King of Hell, the most powerful person in his realm, is no easy task. Ancient and deadly artifacts have to be found, rare ingredients have to be harvested, and the proper spell has to be invoked, all without her demonic powers.

Summary
Hell is unsteady on its feet after Adam's final botched extermination. In this sort of situation, there are two kinds of people who rise out of the rubble:
- those who want to help rebuild and reform, like Princess Charlie Morningstar.
- those who seize the opportunity for a power grab, like mostly everybody else.
The hotel is just piecing itself back together when they're shaken up yet again - this time by a new arrival on their doorstep. Vixen, a young fox demon, is brought to the hotel by Rosie with absolutely no recollection of her past. She's so polite and awkward, it's like she doesn't belong in Hell at all...which begs the question, why is she there?
Then the Collector shows up, a power-hungry demon who operates a floating castle, swallows Overlords without a trace, and makes garbage-worthy villain monologues. And what is this mysterious "Scourge" weapon he keeps using to raze entire buildings to the ground?
I'm Vixen, by the way, and I'm trying desperately to stay sane while plagued with weird clairvoyant dreams, spontaneous nosebleeds, a lizard demon stalker, and a radio demon who flip-flops between "friendly" and "on the verge of killing me". How much can possibly go wrong?

“I seem to have uncovered your dastardly plan, my dear!” Alastor piped up, all radio demon and static. “You just wanted to walk unaccosted. You have the power to scare the witless even further out of their tiny minds, why not employ it if that’s all you wanted?”
“It wasn’t all I wanted,” Lucifer protested. It was just a nice fringe benefit!
“Then you did want something,” Alastor replied, letting the microphone drop down by his side. “Why not tell me? I’ve always been very obliging, haven’t I?”
“It’s not the word I’d use for you, gorgeous, but sure.” Lucifer snorted, looking back towards the street. Down the street, he could see their destination and it was just a reminder of something else playing on his mind. “I think it’s probably time to let Sera know what’s coming.”
The one thing heaven and hell have in common, other than internet that really should get an upgrade, was bureaucracy.

The recently fallen angel, Carmilla Carmine, is going to her first ever overlord meeting after being giving notice that she had finally earned her way into their ranks. Unfortunately, the others proved to be much too arrogant or too energetic for her taste. All, except one.
Carmilla had died a long time ago. She had a husband and her daughters in Heaven, leaving with the young Clara and Odette after her husband proved to be, in lack of better terms, a massive cheating cockhead.
Every overlord present in Scrambled Eggs is already hear, she is the only "new face".
I will write of how she deals with her new found power, her fellow overlords, keeping her daughters hidden from all of Hell, and a certain someone that just so happened to catch her eye.
(Also, Alastor's back a little early in this AU. He was only gone for four years, two years when Carmilla got there. Lilith lives in Heaven but only Alastor knows and she only comes to Hell to drop off and pick up Charlie from Lucifer on weekends. The divorce was about one year ago.)

Granted, it's Hell; they all technically belong there and there are no innocents, but some less so than others. Her target right now? Valentino. When she hears his favorite plaything resides outside his studio, she takes full advantage and uses it as an opportunity to get information. The problem is, she did not plan for The Radio Demon to be there, or for him to take an interest in her of all people, nor did she expect to grow to care so much about the group of misfits. But the hardest part, she has to heal from her old wounds and no one can know what caused them. No one can know how weak she once was.

Sure, she has all of her employees, but they more or less fear her, even though she's never been cruel to them, though that was probably due to her inheriting some of those employees from a trio of recently usurped Overlords. At least, that's what Carmilla told her. Either way, she'need a change of pace.
However, one night, Valkyrie comes home from work to find that her penthouse has been broken into, and that two sinners are sleeping in her bed. A television, and a moth. They're hurt, cold, and terrified, but who are these two? And where did they come from? Well, she's stuck with them now, but, maybe it won't be so bad? I mean, they aren't bad company. Not at all.

After learning angels can be killed using angelic weapons, Lucifer comes across a bylaw in Hell that states Charlie must have an heir in case she dies. The law gives her the right to choose surrogates who will sire and carry the child on her behalf regardless of whether those surrogates are sinner demons or hellborn. Against Vaggie's warnings, Lucifer's protests, and her own better judgment, Charlie picks Alastor and Rosie as surrogates unintentionally making them the target of Lute's wrath. Meanwhile, Lute goes against heaven's orders to unleash a contagious virus that renders sinners feral and forces those who are inflicted to slaughter their loved ones. Some are immune. Others are not. Battle lines are drawn and the race for a cure is on. Alastor becomes infected and Lute's blood is the remedy. Charlie and the others must put an end to the plague before The Radio Demon succumbs completely and goes after Rosie and their unborn child. Will they be able to save him and the rest of Hell in time, or will Lute's mission to eradicate what she deems an abomination growing within The Cannibal Queen's womb be successful?
