Summary

Summary
Zuko didn't ask for this. For anything of this. He wanted to leave his Uncle, to find his own path in the Earth Kingdom, cast aside from everything he once knew. It wasn't fair, but it was his own choice.
Instead, he found himself burdened with a curse, now forced to do the bidding of the Blue Spirit, transformed against his will. How can he regain his honor and go home when he is no longer human?
AKA the author is struggling to write this summary but basically Zuko can now turn into the Blue Spirit Magic Girl Anime style

Summary
When Sokka was 12 years old, his best friend Zuko came to visit him. Zuko with his golden eyes and burning smile and tumultuous voice that Sokka complained was too loud but loved all the same.
When Sokka was 12 years old, Zuko hugged him goodbye and promised to be back soon, promised they wouldn’t be apart for long, and Sokka hugged him back and said “I know.”
When Sokka was 12, the southern water tribe received a letter regarding Ozai’s imprisonment and Firelord Iroh’s ascension to the throne. The letter had, without sparing a detail, explained in full Ozai’s crimes and what he had done.
When Sokka was 12, he wrote a letter to Zuko explaining how he missed him, and how he was sorry his dad was in prison, and asked if he missed him. Sokka, carefree and unaware of the horrors that plagued the fire nation prince, waited for a reply that never came.
or,
the one where the war goes a little differently, Zuko and Sokka are childhood best friends, Ozai is a piece of shit (whats new) and Zuko struggles to cope with his PTSD and the fact that he may have feelings for the watertribe prince.
Angst ensues.

Sokka's finally decided to join his school's budding agriculture program, after lots of pressure from both Suki and Katara. However, he wasn't expecting to get thrown back into science fair, or to be the assigned partner of the Self-nominated Class Emo, Zuko. Maybe he shouldn't have signed up for this after all.
Then again, baby ducks and baby goats might make everything worth it. And so might a new boyfriend.
(Or; Zuko and Sokka meet in FFA and the rest is history.)

This is mainly Zukka with some side Sokka/Suki and poly Zuko/Sokka/Suki/Ty Lee. OCs are minor characters. Jetko is referenced as a past relationship.
It's six months after the war has ended, and Zuko is being eaten up by his newfound responsibilities as Fire Lord. How is he supposed to cope with fixing the Nation when he has to juggle his sister's mental breakdown, the fact that he just can't sleep, avoiding failure, and his blushing every time he sees a certain Ambassador?
As for Sokka, life as an Ambassador for the Fire Nation can be frustrating with people stuck in their ways and a general misunderstanding among the world. He needs a distraction when he's not planning...besides, Zuko's so great to be around. What's the harm in distracting him too?
