Summary
Clark knows it’s Bruce when his phone is ringing at 3 am. He doesn’t have to answer to fly to the Wayne Manor’s front door in two seconds. Before he could knock, Alfred opened the door with a slightly exaggerated yet concerned look.
“What’s happened?” Clark says as Alfred leads him to the Bat Cave.
“He had a run-in with Poison Ivy tonight. The pheromone she was using had to be something new. He came home overstimulated, not making much sense. He can’t stand touch or sound right now. He had some sort of glowing debris on his cape. I ran the fabric through the database, but it returned no results.” Alfred raised his hand to knock when they reached the door but slowly lowered it and softly pushed it open.
--
Or, Bruce gets hit with something he's not prepared for on a mission to capture Poison Ivy. Clark helps him through it all.

Summary
"This is Bruce Wayne. Billionaire. Philanthropist. Thirty-nine years of age.
This is Batman.
Martial artist, linguist, aerialist, JLA strategist.
My eyes jump to the quivering form, to the bowed shoulders that are marked with dried blood and sweat. To the raw and infected skin on his wrists and ankles. And then to the greasy top of his head where the hair looks as dull as the waxen white skin beneath it.
This was Batman.
The sight is—heartbreaking."Bruce Wayne goes missing for nearly a year. The JLA finds him but by the time they do, he's merely a shell of what he once was. His mind is lost.

“Bruce, is this your first—”
“Yeah,” Bruce said a little breathless, his face going so hot he knew it would look ruby. Clark would see it even if it wasn’t broad daylight. His vision was perfect. He wouldn’t miss how shaky Bruce was or God—nervous. How his pulse was a rapid flutter of movement in the hollow of his throat and his pupils blown wide with yearning.
But that was okay. That was fine.
Because that was why they were here in the first place.Series

Summary
Why did Clark have to invite Bruce to his farm? Of course it’s not the fact Bruce secretly wants to deep down inside! Or how he wants to meet the woman named after his own mother.... or the fact he actually likes the thought of friends and told Alfred about it in hopes he’d force him to go.
What is Smallville even like? I guess Bruce will see as soon as they arrive, after a long road trip that is.

Summary
“I’ll see you around?”
It wasn’t really a necessary question. Of course, Clark would see Bruce around. He would see him in a week at the next JLA meeting, or in the news, or when Bruce sent a message that meant he wanted to be fucked into the mattress again. Clark never bothered to be the one to ask–that was Bruce’s measure of control. His silent rule. Everything had to be on his terms or there would be no fucking in the first place. That was how it had always been. Just fucking, nothing more, between friends that needed an itch scratched.
And they both liked it that way.Series
