Summary
Wei Wuxian is an aspiring horror novelist who just can't seem to catch his long awaited big break. The publishing industry is quite monopolized by just a couple large companies. Of which, the prestigious Gusu Lan holds the largest influence. As an act of desperation, Wei Wuxian submits his manuscript to Gusu Lan for an in-person review. After it fails spectacularly, his brother Jiang Cheng offers his small graphic novel store as a means to build a following.
Lan Wangji is the second son of the late CEO of Gusu Lan Publishing. He's known for his strict adherence to rules and allusive personality, however when he catches a single glimpse of quite the character storming out of his company's office, he can't help but become a little bit curious.
The rest is...well, convoluted and awkward history.
