Summary
Noodle was looking forward to getting back to normal after her sabbatical in Japan, but things have changed in her absence. The studio she knew as "home" is in shambles, and tensions are high among the band. When Murdoc receives news of his abusive father’s declining health and must return home to Stoke-on-Trent, Noodle puts aside her growing resentment towards him and tags along. After learning about her own mysterious childhood, she catches a firsthand glimpse of Murdoc’s, as he tries to uncover the missing pieces of his past.

“Where did you get that…?” Van Gogh asked.
“I-er-uh… found this in the trash. I don’t know how it got in there, but I figured I should, er uh, return it to you.”
“Put it back where I put it. It belongs in the trash,” he mumbled.
