Summary
“Ludwig?” She asks. “I knew I smelt something damp, but I didn’t think it’d be you.”
“I took a bath,” he stammers out quickly.
“In your clothes? You’re gonna catch a cold if you do that.”
His face droops. Not this again. “I..” Words fail him. They feel locked behind his now chattering teeth.
Teazzer looks him up and down, eyes sharpening at the sorry state of him. Soaked to the bone, his usually unruly mane plastered sadly against his scalp and shoulders, his lip gnawed and bleeding. Fearing his eyes might give more of his emotions away than he wants to, Ludwig averts his gaze. It’s his badly trembling leg that makes her begin speaking again.
“You wanna come in, sweetheart?” Her voice is unusually gentle.

Ludwig has a bad day, ends up in Bazzil and Teazzer’s bed, and they take care of him (in more ways than one).

Summary
Techno stumbles back when they collide with a small oof - he catches Phil's eyes again, looking far more panicked than he did a few seconds ago, arms full of sixteen-year-old.
“Ohhh-kay,” Techno says, patting nervously at Tommy's shoulder. “Hello, TommyInnit.”
“Mmmm - he-llo, Technoblade,” Tommy says, stressing each syllable just like he does on stream. He pulls back, smiling ear to ear, and lays both hands on Techno's shoulders. “You're taller than I thought you'd be.”
“You're clingier than I thought you'd be,” Techno drawls. “And you're not six-three.”
OR
Phil has everyone over for Christmas. All of them seem to realize something's up with Tommy, but nobody can quite piece it together before he breaks.

Summary
Surviving in the wilderness really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
After being gone for a year, John Dory returns to the Troll Tree to find it completely empty. Save for one troll: His baby brother, Branch. Thinking the trolls and the rest of his family dead, he sets off once again to the Neverglade Trail, this time, with his baby brother in tow. Fueled by fear, guilt, and voices from the past he just can't seem to escape, he wonders if he made the right decision.
But he promised his brother he would never leave him again. So he wouldn't.
Besides, he was never known for his great decisions anyways.
(Based on the song "Great Decisions" by Judah & the Lion)

Sure, he hadn’t seen Bucky in months, and sometimes he was at the punching bag so long that his skin started to peel off to expose the bones of his fingers, and sometimes he couldn’t find the energy to drag himself out of bed, and sometimes he went weeks without sleeping, and sometimes he thought about throwing himself head-first off the nearest tall structure, but he was fine.
He was absolutely, perfectly, one-hundred percent, fucking fine.
