Through medical treatment and help from Mic and Aizawa, he is able to regain memories of who Shirakumo was. The issue is that if he wants to become Shirakumo again, he would have to give up everything he built as Kurogiri. Is it worth giving up the life he built and the child he cared for to fight for a life that no longer feels like his?

He knew there were heroes out there that focused primarily on strategy and analysis so maybe one day he'd finally be able to make his creepy observations worth something, right? All that gets thrown into disarray when Izuku uncovers a story dating back more than two centuries that will land him in the midst of an otherworldly conflict he wants no part of and give him the power to become the hero he's always wanted to be.
Along the way Izuku will have to ask himself how did these powers come to be? Why was he chosen for something so sinister when he only ever wanted to help people? Can he still become a hero when each use of his new powers makes him less and less human?
(Or, a crossover between The Magnus Archives and BNHA that no one asked for. No real understanding of TMA necessary, Izuku will be right there learning alongside you.)

His arm and John's angled behind them to prop up his torso. Had he sat down? He must’ve at some point. Or he’d fallen again. Actually, on second thought, it was almost definitely falling.
What do you mean fuzzy? Like you hit your head or-?
“No! No I-,” he shook his head, then the nothing of his vision began to swim and he quickly reevaluated, “Well, maybe actually. But no, I mean my thoughts. Everything’s coming through a bit jumbled, just give me a moment.”
He sat there for a minute or two.
"Where are we, John?"
We’re at the edge of a dark forest.
The man sighed, "Again?"
