Leone has a drinking problem. That problem being that he no longer has enough money to buy the amount of alcohol he wants to consume. So, he does the only thing he really can do. He goes and gets a job at the only place desperate enough to take him- A small pastry shop run by an overworked man with too many wild teenagers calling him Pops.
But then a problem arises. This man- This Bruno Bucciarati- He does something to Leone. Wakes something in him that makes him want to be more than what he has become. It is uncomfortable. It scares him. It makes him feel as though he has been torn asunder and Bruno is remaking him with the pieces.
He starts to find that he's kind of okay with that.
