Summary
Today marked just a day after Father’s Day, and Tallulah would be lying if she said she was okay. She was not okay. Phil had told Tallulah many times over the past three years that if anything was wrong, she could come and speak to him at any time. Even if he was in his study and working on paperwork for his stay-at-home job, she was always allowed to come and speak with him or just sit with him for company.
So here Tallulah was, standing outside of her dad’s study door, hesitant to knock. It took her approximately five minutes before she finally knocked on his door.Or: Tallulah is struggling but Phil is there to show her everything will be alright.
Or Or: Author is struggling with Father's Day coming in a few months with no bio dad and no childhood with their stepdad :D

"I want to give you a home, Tommy. A place where you can feel loved and accepted for who you are. I want to be there for you through thick and thin, and help you become the person you want to be," Phil said, his eyes showing nothing but sincerity and love. "But you have to trust me before I can help you with anything. Are you willing to at least try to trust me?"
Tommy knew that it would be a long distance till he reached home, but he was willing to try his best to start the journey, once more. The first step is trust. "I'll try my best. I promise."
OR; Tommy has been through 10 households and 6 crappy Group Homes before being put into the caring arms of the Watsons.

Summary
Tommy wanted oh so dearly to get out of bed, he did, but he just couldn’t.
Logically, he could, he could get out of bed. There was nothing physically stopping him. But he was just so tired. Tommy felt drained, mentally and physically exhausted.
Tommy had finals, and for three weeks he had done nothing but study. Then he had two weeks of purely nothing but exams and finals, it was tiring.
But now,
Tommy was on winter break and he should have been able to rest, but finals were so stressful and
Tommy just can’t seem to shake off the stress from taking them.
Tommy feels exhausted.
or; Tommy is burnt out from finals and has a diabetic episode, but Phil's there to help! :)
or or; author was burnt out from finals in November and decided to make it into a fic.
