People would not expect Klavier's taste in men to be where it is.
Namely, they think of the assortment of boyfriends he's had over the years. Never serious, of course, but all the same type. Just about his height, gentle face, soft eyes. He supposedly has a type. Twitter fan communities like teasing him for it, that Klavier likes women who could flip a car and “twinks of poor little meow meow status”.
He's been projecting, though. Looking for men like the boy he was too busy to ask out. The first friend who didn't see him for the band, or for Kristoph. The first person who saw him as just Klavier.
And now, here he sits, in that very man's office, years later. Watching. Observing. Dying quietly on the inside.Or: Klavier has a crush on his friend, and thinks a lot about it in a way that is apparently obvious enough to warrant attention.
