    Tobirama is not a coward.

    He doesn't understand why he's reacting like this when the Senju courtship gestures had felt– easy. Natural. Most of them he had done subconsciously, a part of him eager to please his intended, to care for him. So then, shouldn't this feel just the same? 

    He doesn't know.

    Looking down at the blade, he can't help but wonder whether it'll end up buried within his neck soon.

    Or; Madara accidentally courts Tobirama, Tobirama not so accidentally accepts, and then definitely not accidentally courts Madara right back.

    When Shen Yuan dies, cursing the disappointing ending of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he wakes up to find himself inside the story, as a demon NPC. Which is pretty cool, as far as transmigration experiences go! The only problem is that his character is trapped in the form of a dragon-like beast, alone in a half-ruined castle. But he adapts, keeping to himself aside from one quick trip to the human realm that triggers a minor plot deviation with major consequences.

    After that experience, Shen Yuan retreats into solitude again… until the Immortal Alliance Conference, where he decides to intervene more intentionally in Luo Binghe's fate. After taking the young protagonist under his wing, however, he’s surprised to learn just how much the story has already diverged from its origins.

    And he and Luo Binghe are both surprised when the Bai Zhan War God, Liu Qingge, tracks them down—determined to ‘rescue’ the disciple who once saved his life.
