Many years ago, Vi and Caitlyn asked Singed to help them create biological children of their own. Everything went successfully, and soon two daughters came into their lives: Victoria and Ophelia Kiramman.
Nine years later, Caitlyn begins to notice that Ophelia reminds her far too much of Jinx — the person she had spent years trying to forget.

Summary
Jinx had been living with Silco for what seemed close to a year now, at the age of eleven years. She tried to be as useful as she could to the crime-lord, doing her best to impress him. Her latest creation is supposed to be her biggest and most spectacular invention yet; a bomb that actually works. No cheating with magical rocks this time!
Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned...
After an unforseen accident, Silco brings Jinx to the only man who has a glimmer of hope of saving his… daughter?
Jinx's survival depends on the Doctor who had once saved his life, but this time it would take a miracle. Or, to Silco's surprise, an amount of Shimmer no one was supposed to survive. He could only hope that that wasn't the case this time...

Summary
After the night Powder became Jinx, Silco saw what others had missed.
She was not just a broken child. Not just a weapon. She was a genius.
So he made a choice that would change everything: he let her learn not only from him, but from Singed as well.
Under Silco, Jinx learned power, fear, loyalty, and survival. Under Singed, she would learn science, flesh, death, shimmer, and the terrible secrets hidden inside living things. Her madness did not disappear. It sharpened. It became invention. And she would now have a different type of madness.
This is an alternate universe of Arcane. A What-if where Jinx does not become only Silco’s loose cannon. She becomes Zaun’s mad scientist, engineer, and weaponsmith. A girl who decides that if Piltover rules through Hextech, gold, and authority, then Zaun must answer with shimmer, steel, and chaos. Jinx will became the counterpart of Jayce for Zaun.
Her greatest creation is the Mechanical Man: a guardian born from trauma, ambition, hatred and love. A protector who will never abandon her. Never sleep. Never die. Never hesitate.

Silco had told Powder to rest, as she needed time to grieve and get over the loss of her family, but she couldn't stop how she was feeling. Next thing you know she made her way to the basement of The Last Drop, her old home and where she has spent most of her time the last couple of weeks. This was the place she left the rest of the crystals, because she couldn't look at them, so she placed them where the flare was.
Today she was finally going to get out of her rut, and start putting these gemstones to use.

“And-and we can send out more enforcers and sevika can ask the ‘jinxers’ to help out and I’m sure we’ll have-“ caitlyn shook her head, “Vi! Do you hear yourself right now?” She asked shutting Vi up from continuing her words. “You sound ridiculous. Look, I’ve been trying to help you I really really have but you have to let it go. If not for your sake, for mine. I can’t handle this anymore. I can’t watch you waste away into the abyss of obsession when she’s-“ caitlyn paused and sighed and looked over at ekko who was sat on the other end of the table.
“When she’s gone.” Caitlyn said quieter this time. The words made Vi visibly deflate. “She’s out there! I know it, okay? I know it. And I’m not gonna give up because I promised her I’d always find her and we’d always be together.” With that she stood up from her seat and stormed out. Caitlyn shut her eyes and fell to the couch, sighing. Ekko followed Vi out.

In the aftermath of the war, everyone is left to pick up the pieces and act like things are okay. Vi finds herself struggling to reconcile who she is when she’s not a protector, Caitlyn is trying to live up to the Kiramman name all whilst everyone else is striving away the demons of their past.

“You’re perfect.” His final words. You’re perfect, echoing again and again around her mind as she knelt before his body and the last of her tears finally gave way to emptiness. If this is perfect then I don’t want to be. She picked up the gun and stood slowly, limbs like lead.
“Powder?” said Vi, from the other end of the wretched party-table. “It’s okay; we’ll be okay.”
