He snickered, shaking his head, but the smile slipped from his lips as they settled into a neutral line. He leaned on his cane to look up at the sky.
“I don’t. I mean, not really. People think it’s this majestic, all knowing force, but it’s a lot more like a child, always watching, always learning. When it connects with us, it tunes into every fiber of our being. It doesn’t know anything at first, we shape it with our every thought, our every use, every action. We’re its compass, moral or otherwise. You know what they say, what goes around comes around, that’s very literal here. I just…learned that a lot sooner than others do. They take from the world, so it learns to take. I give of myself, and only myself, so it gives in return…"
He glanced down at his hands, examining them carefully as they glowed faintly in the moonlight.

A girl who decides that if Piltover rules through Hextech, gold, and authority, then Zaun must answer with shimmer, steel, and chaos. Jinx will became the counterpart of Jayce for Zaun.

Do you hear yourself right now?” She asked shutting Vi up from continuing her words. “You sound ridiculous. Look, I’ve been trying to help you I really really have but you have to let it go. If not for your sake, for mine. I can’t handle this anymore. I can’t watch you waste away into the abyss of obsession when she’s-“ caitlyn paused and sighed and looked over at ekko who was sat on the other end of the table.
“When she’s gone.” Caitlyn said quieter this time. The words made Vi visibly deflate. “She’s out there! I know it, okay? I know it. And I’m not gonna give up because I promised her I’d always find her and we’d always be together.” With that she stood up from her seat and stormed out. Caitlyn shut her eyes and fell to the couch, sighing. Ekko followed Vi out.
OR
In the aftermath of the war, everyone is left to pick up the pieces and act like things are okay. Vi finds herself struggling to reconcile who she is when she’s not a protector, Caitlyn is trying to live up to the Kiramman name all whilst everyone else is striving away the demons of their past.

It’s early evening and Caitlyn is back at her desk finishing up her reports for the day when Sheriff Grayson walks over and asks to speak with Officer Kiramman in her office. Caitlyn looks up and registers the carefully neutral expression on Grayson’s face and her eyes narrow. That means something happened. But what? Caitlyn follows Grayson to the office and Grayson asks her to close the door and have a seat. Sheriff Grayson has always been a straightforward person so she begins by telling Caitlyn that there’s been a double homicide, Mr. Jayce Talis and Viktor. Caitlyn’s blood runs cold and she remembers from this morning that Jinx said she had a meeting today with Viktor.
