Summary
I wrote this in a creative writing class, and i used this to cope with the loss of my grandma. I don't know if i plan on writing more or of its kind of a end all be all story here, cause im not in the same headspace mentally as I was. I just wanted to share this somewhere in case anyone ever wanted to read it maybe lawl?
Needless to say I hope whoever reads this enjoys and leaves me some form of suggestions or whatever.

this is my first EVER shameless x hp fic and oh my god am i hooked!
first of all i read green and gold (and absolutely love it) and didn’t even realize this was the same author, but when i did it all made sense
at the start i thought it would just be a “harry moved to south side chicago to hide from death eaters until the time is right to fight” but oh my god was it so much more. the backstory and trauma harry had made him fit so much better into the south side and it was so nice to see how free they helped him feel.
im ngl the teen pregnancy was SUPER shocking to me and i am NOT a fan of pregnancy tropes but it worked out well with this one!!! genuinely made me happy harry got his family
less heavy on the lip/harry romance and only really happens at the end but i would’ve loved to see more of their relationship

Summary
This summer was the breaking point for Harry Potter. On top of the verbal and physical abuse he went through, he now has to compete in a competition he did not sign up for. Harry's 'friends' have abandoned him, his teachers not believing him and is left to fend for himself. Harry sneaks down to the Chamber of Secrets to release tension and panic in private but ends up discovering Slytherin's Personal Library.
