    I'm terrible at summaries...

    This fic centers on Edward after the events of Riddler: Secrets In The Dark. I wanted to explore him after the death of Azrael. Self immolation has to be a hard thing for any person to watch even with the disorders that Ed has, so I felt it would be interesting to watch him grapple with a disconnect where he truly 100% believes that he can't be experiencing trauma from the event all the while Jonathan, yet to become scarecrow, has taken his case and wants to see how much worse he can make Edward. This fic will cover some seriously upsetting ground and I may not always handle it with the grace it deserves since this is also somewhat a fetish piece. The Dead Dove tag is not just for show. I will be adding more tags at they become relevant.
