Summary
One of the consistent things about Sonic was that he always got back up again in record time, even to his own detriment. So to see him gone… it raised multiple red flags.
“Oh wow, I… really made them worry, huh?” Back in the present, the blue hedgehog hung his head low, brows furrowed and lips stretched in a thin line.
“Yes.” Shadow stressed, hand moving to dust off the log before sitting on it, an acceptable length away from the other hedgehog.
“And you looked for me?” Sonic piped up, suddenly, a bit more energy in his voice.
“I did.” Shadow admitted, and after a beat added; “Obviously.”
