Kuai stepped out of his hiding spot. He was pleased to see Hanzo handling the remaining goons well. A slight movement caught the cryomancer’s ears. His eyes were returned to the platform he saw when he walked in. Under the cover of the crates, Kuai could see another goon hiding under the cover. The goon pulled out a sniper rifle.
To Kuai Liang’s horror, the sniper was aiming toward Hanzo, who had just taken down the last goon, utterly oblivious to the imminent danger. Kuai Liang ran as fast as he could in the pyromancer’s direction.
The sound of a gunshot bounced off the walls a mere second before Kuai tackled Hanzo to the ground.
