Summary
For most of Bradley's life, there had been one key on his keyring that he'd been unable to throw away, no matter how many times he'd thought about it. And as a fully grown adult, one who was buying his own apartment, Bradley finally realised the significance attached to giving someone a spare key.
One drunken night, followed by one bad decision finds Bradley using that key. But when he's caught out - could the consequences be everything he's ever dreamed of.

When Bradley suggests Maverick visit Float Away With Me, a sensory deprivation spa with a difference, he wasn't certain what he was getting himself into. Especially when he read over the menu to find some items that raised a brow (and potentially other body parts too).
He'd only intended to visit once for the basic package, but soon finds himself exploring all that was on offer due to his traitorous mind imagining a certain someone instead of his therapist.
Maverick was in so much trouble.
Bradley hadn't told Maverick that he was part owner of Float Away With Me, it hadn't come up and suddenly due to circumstances beyond his control he was the one giving Maverick his treatments.
It was a dream come true to have his hands running over Maverick, he savoured each touch, even though Maverick had no idea it was him.
Then Maverick chooses something from the menu that will change the course of their friendship forever. How the fuck was Bradley going to keep it professional?

When Bradley tells Maverick that his new year's resolution is to spend the next year wooing the person he loves, his regret is instant. He’d left his confession too late, Bradley had moved on, fallen in love and all Maverick could do was watch from the sidelines and hope the person Bradley was spending his time on was worthy and that he wouldn’t forget about him.
Maverick shouldn’t have worried. If anything, Bradley spent more time with him, ensuring to strengthen their friendship, showering him with time and gifts, enough so that Maverick joked he was the one being wooed.
Cue: twelve months worth of dates, one extremely oblivious pilot, one idiot with good intentions and a love that even the man on the moon could see.

Stuck on a carrier in freezing cold temperatures following an unprovoked attack was not how Bradley thought his first posting after the uranium mission would go. He also didn’t expect to be assigned a ‘bunkmate’ to huddle for warmth with due to the damage taken either.
At least Maverick was there where Bradley could keep an eye on him, reach out and touch if he needed. Though he’d never bridge the gap, no matter how much he wanted.
With no interior lights and unable to see who he was sharing body warmth with, an unspoken decision is made to not reveal their identities, even as things heat up under the covers.
After all - Bradley didn't want to ruin the fantasy that the body pressed against his was Maverick's.

Bradley thought he was doing a remarkable job at hiding his attraction to Maverick. It had lay dormant for more years than he wanted to think about, only to come rushing back after the uranium mission. But on a normal day, with limited interaction - he was nailing it.
Then they find themselves caught in a storm, in the desert with temperatures dropping quickly, with only a broken down Bronco to shield them from the elements.
How on earth was Bradley going to be able to hide his feelings when they had to share warmth overnight? Especially when Maverick suggests cuddling as the perfect way to stave off the cold.
The answer was - he couldn’t.

Maverick thought training up a new group of recruits would be easy - he'd done it before, plus the Daggers were there to assist. Even if Bradley was proving a distraction.
What he didn't expect was the fighting, the inflated egos and having to babysit a bunch of ten year old adults.
So with Thanksgiving around the corner, and the thought of spending it away from Bradley weighing on his shoulders, Maverick comes up with a plan.
Each pilot has to write an anonymous note explaining who they are thankful for, with the proviso they could go home if they played nice.
Cue - an *assortment of notes with a recurring theme and the chance to spend Thanksgiving with the person he loves best.

Dressing up as a sexy cowboy and posting pictures of himself online was not the way Bradley ever thought he’d try to get Maverick's attention. But that’s exactly what happened.
Maverick never thought he’d find himself looking at half naked cowboy pictures on the internet in his spare time. But a sexy cowboy started to fill his feed and he had no idea who it was, but he knew exactly who he wished it to be.
Cue - two idiots lusting after the other, and one convoluted plan using a cowboy hat and chaps in the quest for love.

Bradley didn't give two thoughts to the so-called 'curse' that was put on his head when he was young, hurt and reckless. He didn't believe in magic for starters, but to be cursed that if he rejected his one true love, every door he walked through would take him to a different parallel universe to observe them living their life - it was ludicrous.
Then fifteen years later he's recalled to Top Gun for a secret mission and in waltzes Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell. Bradley, hardly containing his anger, leaves the minute he's able to.
But when he walks out the door, something happens, he's not where he's supposed to be. No one can see or hear him and Maverick is there, and so is Bradley - a different Bradley.
Apparently curses are real, and Bradley's about to get a crash course in humility, forgiveness and to learn who he and Maverick truly are along the way.
