Husk reaches into the couch cushions and pulls out the remote like a rabbit from a hat. He pushes the power button. Just like magic, Angel’s gasping cries cut off mid-sound, mercifully plunging the room into silence. Only it's not merciful. It’s a mechanical reminder that none of this is real. Turning the TV off is just another cheap illusion of control.

"Husk laid flat on his back, and Angel followed, almost trance-like as his knees came to rest on either side of his vampire's head. Large hands engulfed his waist and hips, warm puffs of breath against the insides of his thighs. Angel's eyes fluttered at the sight of Husk below him, seemingly just as affected. Just as aroused. Then that mouth filled with sinful, vicious teeth carefully pressed a kiss to the swell of his center.

The antlered monster let his hand run through the feathers of Husk’s wing, ignoring the cat’s terrified pleading. “I’ll do you a favor, Angel,” he hummed, the sigils never wavering around him and the dials now working at a steadier pace. A tinge of familiarity hit Angel Dust as he forced himself up off the ground. The overwhelming sense of control that Alastor held was so much like that of Valentino. “No more of that fruitless flirting anymore. I’ll show you how to get this big kitten to loosen up, all for you.”
Angel took a step towards the bar, his bottom hands making the flat-palmed gesture for Alastor to stop. “H-hold on, Al, I-I didn’t mean it like that.”
“I’m sure you didn’t, Angel,” the Radio Demon hummed, claws dancing over those shimmering feathers. His words were free of sarcasm. “But beneath all your camaraderie and sharing the agony of slavery through song, we all know you envy ol’ Husker here, don’t you?”

Husk and Angel get into a heated argument after a rough day at the studio. After Alastor gets a bottle smashed on his head as a result, he decides to get involved and show Angel a nice trick he learned to get Husk to behave.

Before tonight, before Husk’s surprisingly uplifting little song and dance number, Angel hated most of what he was. Yeah he likes sex, but he doesn’t like being a whore. Doesn’t like being Val’s whore, especially.
And it didn’t make anything better, not really. Not in any way that matters. But it was nice to smile at Husk and not be expected to put out for it. To dance and sing without a leash, and instead gentle fleeting touches to guide him through the steps.
