With the way his hair hung down in his face, damp and stringy, he almost looked the way he had when they'd first rescued him from the Ossuary.

    That thought stung something deep within her rib cage.

    “Shh. Not a sound. Not if you want to keep that darling neck of yours,” he cooed, knife hovering over her throat still. She felt her cheeks flush at the feeling of his warm breath caressing the shell of her ear.’

     

    Aoife’s last memory was heading to Avernus with her companions to hunt for information on an insidious plot that stretched from Barovia to the Hells. She wakes up all alone on a Mind Flayer ship, and finds herself infected. Gathering allies along the way, it’s a race against an unseen clock to get to the bottom of their mysterious infection. Can she find the answers to her own questions while trying to keep everyone alive?
