Summary
The Straw Hat Pirates went treasure hunting before and came out unscathed. Why would the search for one amulet be any different?
Usopp could've listed the reasons: an uncharted cave system, alleged monsters, stories of people that went missing and never came back. Everything about the situation screamed of new dangers. Zoro was certain it would be fine, though, and Usopp felt assured in the light of his boyfriend's confidence.
Yet, as the reality of what they'd uncovered clawed its way towards them, Usopp and Zoro find their relationship and lives pushed past breaking points. Would they be able to find the strength to save each other, or would the pull of powerful forces shatter everything they've built?
