Summary
For centuries, Pokemon and people have been two distinct categories. Jason Nightingale has never understood why. Pokemon are highly intelligent problem solvers, self aware, and even possess their own language. Desperate to have others understand what he does, he has decided to dedicate his life to proving the personhood of Pokemon. However, the job appears to have been done for him when an interspecies communication device mysteriously appears on store shelves one day.
