Summary
Dans un monde ravagé par la guerre et par une mystérieuse malédiction, Jimin, apprenti médecin, vit au Nid, un refuge haut perché dans les montagnes au nord de l'Empire de Silla. La vie y est paisible voir même monotone mais elle change drastiquement lorsque Jimin découvre que sa petite sœur a disparu.
En compagnie de Taehyung, son meilleur ami, il décide de partir à sa recherche dans la dense forêt qu'elle a l'habitude d'arpenter. Mais hors du Nid, l'hiver est dangereux. Depuis la Grande Éclipse apparue vingt ans plus tôt, les saisons sont déréglées et la brume hivernale transforme chaque personne qu'elle touche en pierre. Et malheureusement pour eux, l'hiver arrive...
Dans une course effrénée pour échapper à la brume, Jimin et Taehyung réussissent à se protéger dans un vieux manoir abandonné. Mais ils ne semblent pas les seuls à y être entrés et font alors face à la Milice du Soleil, un groupe de soldats venu de la capitale, menée par Yoongi, leur capitaine.
Ce dernier est gravement blessé et, pour sauver leurs vies, Jimin les persuade qu'il est le seul capable de le sauver. Ils sont alors tous forcés de cohabiter pour espérer survivre à cet hiver qui réserve bien des surprises...

Alhaitham stares at him in bewilderment.

"I don't want to owe anymore debts!" Kaveh yells abruptly, clenching his fists. "Nothing in life is free, I know that. I've learned that the hard way. And the last person I want to be indebted to is you."
Kaveh can't pay rent, he hasn't for eight long month, there just isn't enough money. But the last thing he wants is another thing for Alhaitham to dangle over his head.
He initiated it, but still, he never expected to find a new rent contract slipped under his bedroom door with the payment changed from mora to sexual intercourse.
AKA; Alhaitham and Kaveh use rent as an excuse to explore each other's bodies until their greed leads to more than just mere mutual lust.

Summary
With Jimin's family in deep financial trouble, he knows he has very little chance of securing a match that will bring him any kind of happiness. Which makes it very confusing when Lord Min, heir of the very wealthy and respectable Min family, shows up at their house for a social call, expressing his interest in Jimin's hand in marriage.
There's one catch though: Lord Min has a little problem himself. Disapproving of his heir's ways, Yoongi's father had drawn up a will before he passed stating that Yoongi has to marry, father a child, and have the child be born before his twenty-fifth birthday. Which is in fifteen months. If he fails, he'll lose both the family estate and lands, and will be left with nothing. And so will his bride.
Or: A tale of how Jimin and Yoongi get thrown together through unfortunate circumstances, but slowly find out that they may be able to find more happiness with each other than they could have ever imagined.

Summary
Jimin had honestly thought knotting was probably something exciting but harmless, just like many other things that he as upper-class omega was not allowed to know about. So the secret rendezvous with a village alpha to try it out was meant to just be innocent fun, an adventure to tell Taehyung about later. He never imagined the experience to be quite this dull, and he definitely never imagined being found out, not only by his mamma and her friends, but by his very arch nemesis: Min Yoongi.
But the biggest surprise by far is when Yoongi steps up as his saviour and suggest something utterly preposterous: that they marry. He, marrying Min Yoongi, as if that isn't the worst idea of the century.
Jimin is sure of one thing: this can only go wrong.
