Summary
At Cookie Run Magic High School, a strange magical phenomenon is sweeping through the student body: a hybrid outbreak that gives students animal or magical traits without any species or age limit.
Shadow Milk Cookie wakes up one morning with twitching black cat ears, furious and embarrassed about them. He tries yanking them off in the bathroom mirror, but they’re firmly attached—and worse, they move with his emotions.
The morning bell had barely finished ringing when the entire north wing of Cookie Run Magic High was filled with the sound of frantic yelling.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY’RE STAYING?!”
Shadow Milk Cookie’s voice cracked through the hallway like a whip. He was standing stock-straight in front of the dorm bathroom mirror, yanking at his hair. It wasn’t the black-and-white streaks that bothered him—he’d always had that sharp contrast. No, it was the pair of twitching black cat ears, the insides soft and pink, that stuck out like absurd felt props from a cheap costume.

Summary
Pure Vanilla Cookie would consider himself to be understanding in most circumstances. If there was an issue with another cookie, he was confident that he could resolve the issue with clarity and forgiveness no matter how bad the situation was. His adoring partner is the reformed Beast of Deceit Shadow Milk Cookie and he was able to find forgiveness in the things Shadow Milk had done in his past.
What Pure Vanilla could not understand were the newfound thoughts of jealousy that overcame him when he saw Shadow Milk interacting with Burning Spice.

He has to navigate this world when his alternate self is a villain who's dead-set on killing him and this version of class 1-A. All the while, his friends search desperately for a way to get him back.
