Boy and boy grow further apart. Boy leaves boy. Boy does not get over it. Alcohol and overpass cliche returneth. Boy is lonely.
Sisyphean indeed.

Disillusioned, depressed and drunk, Viktor forgoes throwing himself off an overpass and takes the only marginally better route of texting his long-estranged best friend instead.

He curls his arms around Jayce’s neck, selfishly drawing him closer and grabbing great handfuls of his tattered tailcoat. The pressure around his ribs is grounding. It pulls him back from that ledge, back into his body, back into Jayce’s.
After a brush with the end of the world, Jayce and Viktor find themselves alive—and, more importantly, together. Spit out among flowering hills, they must learn how to leave behind all that they know, forgive each other and themselves, and live anew in the wake of tragedy.

A single action is not often seen as life altering, or fate defying. Most would see a simple stroll down a damp street as just a normal occurance. Most would be right. How could one choice stroll, one chance encounter, and one medical mystery tip the course of the universe so out of wack?
That is what the Arcane would like to know, too, as two players who were never meant to connect, collided at full force well before their time and began to rewrite the story planned.

Bound by a promise, Viktor builds connections to the Undercity once more, trying to balance two worlds as he continues to become woven into crutial areas of Piltover.Becoming a secret member of the Last Drop, a councilor's assistant, and a critical part of what could be the key to the future. Viktor unknowling becomes woven into it all, and a key pawn that one may just want to snatch.

Viktor turned to face him, something small clutched in his hand. His expression was a mix of sadness and resolve as he crossed the space between them, holding the object out to Jayce.
It was the first model of the little boat they’d built together, the one they’d spent hours chasing along the stream before upgrading for a newer one. Viktor had repaired it after their last outing with the toy, the motor polished and gleaming. Jayce stared at it, his chest tightening.
“For you,” Viktor said simply, his voice quiet. “So you don’t forget.”
Jayce took the boat gingerly, his fingers brushing against the worn wood. He blinked quickly, willing the sting of tears in his eyes to go away. “I could never forget you, Viktor.”

I worry that they would simply confiscate the rune without hearing me out.”
Mel looked at the rune as it seemed to hum ever-so-slightly. “He’s still in there,” she said. Relief flooded her, and a kind of joy she hadn’t felt since before the battle at Piltover.Or: in the aftermath of their decision to reverse the conversion, Jayce ends up trapped in the rune. Viktor follows Mel to Noxus to ask for her help and together they learn how to use their arcane abilities and investigate the Black Rose.
